SUICIDE SILENCE Frontman Comments On New Video, Upcoming Tour

February 28, 2008

One of the extreme metal genre's most talked about new bands, SUICIDE SILENCE will kick off a massive North American trek with NILE early next month. The month-long tour, which starts on March 8, also features THE FACELESS and WARBRINGER in the support slots. This will lead SUICIDE SILENCE into a run on the summer's most anticipated tour, Rockstar Energy Mayhem, alongside SLIPKNOT, DISTURBED and MACHINE HEAD, among a slew of others.

SUICIDE SILENCE recently completed a video for the track "Bludgeoned To Death" with acclaimed director David Brodsky (GWAR, THE RED CHORD). The clip captures the band's unrelenting, frenetic stage energy and can be viewed below.

Commented vocalist Mitch Lucker: "We've hardly had a chance to breathe since 'The Cleansing' was released this past September. Our last minute addition to the BEHEMOTH tour in Europe this month was amazing and we're equally enthused about the NILE U.S. tour right around the corner. At the same time, we've just launched a second music video from the record; this one for the track 'Bludgeoned to Death'. After MTV banned the first video, we've decided to give it another go without really sacrificing any creativity or intensity. Hopefully, we'll get lucky and people will actually air this one somewhere. Either way, this onslaught of touring never seems to end and we're looking forward to every bit of it leading into this summer's Rockstar Energy Mayhem tour. Come out to a show and hang out!"
